This installation file includes the base components for Close Support
applications, all editions of the Service Desk and the Audit Module.

System Requirements
Service Desk and Email Responder
Workstation:
•
Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP/Vista/7
•
Minimum 1024 x 768 SVGA screen resolution
•
180MB disk space
•
Minimum 2GB RAM recommended
•
POP3/SMTP email account for the generation of emails
•
The installation file will install Microsoft Access 2003 Runtime.
The Close Support applications will co-exist with other installed
versions of Microsoft Access (except for Access 2010 in 64 bit
mode).
Network:
•
For multi-user operation all users will require full modify access
to a network share where the back-end database (Microsoft
Access .mdb file) is stored.
•
Optional requirement if your preference is to use Microsoft SQL
Server as the datastore - Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008,
any edition.
Web Module
Server:
•
Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) version 5.0 or above.
•
Active Server Pages 2.0 or above (part of IIS).
•
ODBC driver for Microsoft Access or SQL Server as appropriate.
•
Anonymous or authenticated user access to the Close Support
database
Clients:
•
MS Internet Explorer v 5 or above
•
Mozilla Firefox v 2 or above
•
Google Chrome v 3 or above
Email Responder Installation File
This installation file contains the supplementary files required for the
Email Responder. The Close Support Service Desk and core files must
be installed first.
Filesize - 4MB.
